Wang Leehom (Chinese: 王力宏; Pe̍h-ōe-jī: Ông Le̍k-hông; born May 17, 1976), sometimes credited as Leehom Wang, is an American[2] singer-songwriter, actor, and film director. Since his 1995 debut as a singer in Taiwan, he gained popularity across the Chinese-speaking world for fusing hip-hop and R&B with traditional Chinese music. In 2018, CNN dubbed him "King of Chinese Pop"[3] and the Los Angeles Times called him "the biggest American star America has never heard of."[4]

As an actor, Wang had roles in films such as Ang Lee's Lust, Caution, Jackie Chan's Little Big Soldier and Michael Mann's Blackhat. He won Best Actor at the 2018 Macau International Movie Festival for his performance in Forever Young.[5][6]
